Something kind of neat: I recently found out that if you want to make any flaws in your drawings easier to spot, flip the canvas horizontal... For some reason, it makes the parts that are off easier to see so you can fix them.

I may be late to the party, but I thought I'd like to share this \m/^_^\m/

Flip horizontally, I tried that before and it really makes the drawing look differently. I did see a ton of flaws that weren't apparent at first.

I admit that now I'm reluctant to do it :D

Yeah its a great way of finding flaws and things, especially useful on paintings you've been working on for a long time. Just remember to do it often (every 10-15 minutes is usually good) as if you do it every couple of hours you may have spent those few hours making an issue worse that you would have spotted an hour and 45 minutes ago while it was easy to fix. I have flip horizontal set to one fo the quick keys on my Intuos 3 and Cintiq. If you're using CS4 you can go into the key mapping options and assign the function a function key (like F5 for instance). On older versions you can record an action and bind it to a keyboard short cut. If you bring up the action palette, click record new action and assign the action a name and a hotkey to bind it to, all you need to do then is flip your canvas using the menu system, then click the stop recording button. Hit the hotkey you asigned it to and there ya go, a nice shortcut to keep your workflow going without messing with menus!

Oh, and ofcourse you can asign that hotkey from the action to the intuos using the Wacom set up program in control panel, but i'm sure you guessed that already :D

Yeah I've been taking full advantage of the extra quick keys on the Intuos, they're definitely better designed than the two on the Graphire.
